Chemistry majors study the compositing, properties and reactivity of matter and create and discover new chemicals. A chemistry degree can lead to careers in forensics chemistry, energy production, biotechnology, cosmetic and textile industries, and more. The degree prepares students for advanced studies in the field or to attend professional schools in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and osteopathy.
