Social Work Major Guide 2025-2026

Cochise College

Students majoring in Social Work learn the professional knowledge, values, and skills needed to support and enhance the lives of people in overwhelming circumstances. Social work students study social policy and services that lead to social justice and social change. Coursework also includes research, field instruction, and study of the social environment. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to become a licensed generalist social worker in many states.
