Media Arts Major Guide 2025-2026

Pima Community College

Media Arts majors learn to create and analyze stories made with video and audio. They obtain creative and professional experience in all aspects of digital filmmaking and critique. After mastering a foundation in the fundamentals of production and criticism, majors learn storytelling techniques and develop strong aesthetic sensibilities. Using these skills, students will produce a variety of professional-quality projects during their time in the program and be prepared for careers in media production and criticism.
