This AAS program requires two HUs and one SB. The semesters in which general education courses (SB, HU, COM and Science) are taken are flexible and may be switched in sequence. Students may wish to consider taking one or more of these courses during summer session to lighten load in the regular semester.
MTC/TCM120 and MTC/TCM220 courses listed as options in Semester 2 and Semester 3 require additional prerequisite courses that are not part of this program. Students interested in taking these courses should incorporate necessary TCM prerequisites in their academic plan or obtain permission from instructor to waive these courses based on prior experience. GCC does not currently offer either of these MTC/TCM courses, but they are available at other MCCCD colleges.
