Early Childhood Education Professional Development Certificate
Total Credits: 12 Credits Recommended Proficiencies Although not required, these proficiencies would contribute to the student's success: Entry level - NAEYC Standards for Early Childhood Professional Preparation CDA Subject Area Competencies AZ Workforce Knowledge and Competencies AZ Early Childhood CTE Standards AZ CTE Examination Core Requirements (12) ECE 105 Foundations of Early Childhood Education (3) ECE 110 Health, Safety and Nutrition (3) ECE 116 Effective Interactions and Guidance (3) ECE 271 Creating Early Childhood Environments (3) Other Requirements Students must earn: -a grade of C or better in all Core Requirement courses; -a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale; -a minimum of 3 earned CAC credits numbered 100 or above; -a minimum of 12 semester credits. |
