Program Description: The Machinist Technology Certificate provides classroom instruction and hands-on experience with hand tools, as well as skills with mill, lathe, drill-press, and other accessories. Upon completion of the certificate, students will have the basic machining skills needed to become employed in the Machinist Technology industry.

Recommended Proficiencies: Basic understanding of hand tools.

a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
at least one-third of the Certificate credits from CAC.
