Description: An introduction to the craft of creative nonfiction writing taught through readings in literary creative nonfiction, writing exercises, and the composition of original, short creative nonfiction pieces. Prerequisite: ENG101.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. (Comprehension Level) Identify and describe the unique characteristics of creative nonfiction, including the importance of author credibility, interview techniques, and the role of memory. (CSLO 2)
