1. Incorporate critical thinking based on cognitive knowledge in performance of psychomotor (skills) and affective (behavior) domains in the performance of the following:

B. (Application Level) Apply basic practice finances.
C. (Application Level) Demonstrate managed care/insurance procedures. (CSLO#3)
D. (Application Level) Apply procedural and diagnostic coding.

2. This course is competency-based education that emphasizes skills and evaluates mastery of those skills according to the actual learner's performances. Each competency listed in the attached document of MAERB Core Curriculum 2015 Plan for medical assistants must be completed with accuracy, according to the correct procedures, and within the timeframe allowed.
