Description: "Spa technologies" include hot rock massage, scrubs, muds and wraps which are popular in resorts and spas. Industry standards such as hygiene and draping as well as job-search recommendations are included.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. (Analysis Level) Examine, demonstrate and explain the benefits, functions and theory of hot rock massage.

3. (Analysis Level) Examine, demonstrate and explain the benefits, functions and theory of therapeutic mud treatments.
