Description: An introduction to two or more methods of producing fine art prints. May be taken four times for credit. Recommended: ART101 and ART107.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. (Application Level) Read and apply appropriate safety rules for printmaking processes.
2. (Analysis Level) Describe and compare, in discussion or written format, printing processes used during the semester.
3. (Application Level) Apply principles of design and rules of composition to original prints.
4. (Synthesis Level) Develop an image using a series of artists proofs.
5. (Synthesis Level) Produce a portfolio of original prints including an edition of original, properly registered prints.
6. (Evaluation Level) Critique prints in a classroom discussion according to a given rubric.
