1. Independently use tools presented in the classroom experience to understand and demonstrate physical and vocal requirements for character development.
2. Present physical and vocal exercises to the entire class to assist peers in developing greater physical and vocal flexibility. 3. Produce a carefully documented product that shows the value in imagination, concentration and observation in the process of acting. 4. Through extensive research and application of techniques presented in class, produce improvisational exercises to demonstrate the ability to apply their imagination, concentration and observation to the acting process. 5. Exhibit character development by presenting multiple memorized scenes from a variety of published plays. 6. Properly respond to direction and demonstrate a knowledge of acting terminology. 7. Through extensive research strategies students will uncover and record what the playwright's intentions may have been in creating the character. |
