1. Write a personal assessment of his or her own physical and vocal characteristics.
2. Independently use tools presented in the classroom experience to understand and demonstrate physical and vocal requirements for character development. 3. Present physical and vocal exercises to the entire class to assist peers in developing greater physical and vocal flexibility. 4. Construct an in-depth written character analysis utilizing tools researched in class in order to provide appropriate character development within their performance. 5. Produce a carefully documented product that shows the value in imagination, concentration and observation in the process of acting. 6. Through extensive research and application of techniques presented in class, produce improvisational exercises to demonstrate their ability to apply their imagination, concentration and observation to the acting process. 7. Exhibit character development by presenting a memorized scene from a published play. 8. Identify a number of stage dialects. |
