Description: A study of a currently active and deployed Microsoft server network operating system including Active Directory, security policy, group policies, Internet Information Server (IIS), configure Domain Name Services (DNS), file and print services, and building trust relationship between servers. May lead to Microsoft Certification. Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading option available. Prerequisite: CIS120 and CIS121.

Prerequisites: CIS120 AND CIS121

1. (Analysis Level) Compare different network topologies and their structures.
2. (Application Level) Install a dominantly deployed version of Windows server.
3. (Application Level) Configure Active Directory in a dominantly deployed of Windows server.
4. (Synthesis Level) Create and modify user accounts and server policies.
5. (Analysis Level) Configure group policies.
6. (Application Level) Examine server domain configuration options and establish a new computer forest and domain.
7. (Application Level) Complete DNS Configuration on a dominantly deployed version of Windows server.
