Description: Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for all children in family child care, including methods to collect and organize curriculum resources. This course has a bilingual component as an option and supplement.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. (Synthesis Level) Identify and develop age appropriate activities to be used in a family child care setting.
2. (Evaluation Level) Identify components of curriculum development and develop an appropriate curriculum for family child care.
3. (Evaluation Level) Summarize learning skills which children develop and create sample activities which give children ages 0 - 12 practice in each learning skill.
4. (Comprehension Level) List situations that help children use their natural abilities while being cared for in a family child care setting.
5. (Application Level) Collect, organize and use developmentally appropriate teaching resource files in a family child care setting.
