Description: Diagnostics, troubleshooting, design, maintenance, schematic reading and preventive maintenance of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and vacuum systems of industrial machines.

Prerequisites: ELC220 and MET221

Corequisites: None

Recommendations: Basic Algebra skills.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. (Evaluation Level) Analyze, interpret and troubleshoot then develop solutions for electrical malfunctions, including electrical schematic diagrams.
2. (Evaluation Level) Analyze, interpret and troubleshoot then develop solutions for mechanical malfunctions using mechanical diagrams.
3. (Evaluation Level) Analyze, interpret and troubleshoot then develop solutions for pneumatic malfunctions, including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs and ladder logic program errors.
4. (Synthesis Level) Operate and maintain a functioning electro-mechanical system through the use of the manufacturer's equipment manuals, schematics, maintenance procedures and by the application of effective troubleshooting techniques.
