Description: Advanced principles of aerobic exercise, strength development and flexibility, emphasizing methods for stress reduction, value of nutrition awareness, and development of individual exercise programs.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. (Knowledge Level) Identify the basic guidelines of medical screening prior to beginning an exercise program.
2. (Evaluation Level) Determine and assess current health and physical fitness status and needs of each individual prior to beginning the conditioning programs.
3. (Comprehension Level) Discuss the role exercise plays in stress management.
4. (Comprehension Level) Discuss the importance and the relationship of good fitness to productivity, absenteeism and employee performance.
5. (Knowledge Level) Identify the role of exercise and its relationship to preventive medicine.
6. (Comprehension Level) Discuss the basic relationship of diet and nutrition as they relate to a conditioning program.
