Description: Activity course focusing on the pre-season, in-season and off-season strength and conditioning programs for the varsity athlete. Programs will vary by sport. Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grading option available. May be taken two times for credit. Prerequisite: Varsity athlete.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. (Application Level) Demonstrate improvement in hamstring/low back flexibility.
2. (Application Level) Demonstrate improvement in muscular strength and power.
3. (Application Level) Demonstrate improvement in local muscular endurance.
4. (Application Level) Demonstrate improvement in cardiovascular fitness.
5. (Application Level) Demonstrate improvement in percentage of lean body mass to fat mass (body composition).
6. (Application Level) Demonstrate improvement in running speed.
7. (Application Level) Demonstrate improvement in agility and body control (coordination, reaction time and balance).
