Description: Nutrition, exercise, health related and sports related fitness including: the essential nutrients and the recommended nutrient intake for fitness and sport, weight maintenance through proper nutrition, and exercise for health and sport.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes

3. (Comprehension/application level) Explain and relate the effects of dietary supplements on health and on physical performance.
