Description: An overview of various science disciplines, including biology, chemistry, environmental science, physical science, earth science, and astronomy. Designed to help students see the various ways science is used in everyday life, and to encourage students to pursue further courses in science.

Recommendations: This course is based on pilot courses taught at CAC since summer 2009. This course is associated with the HSI-CCRAA STEM grant program(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
