Description: Preventative or corrective maintenance and servicing of fabrication facility equipment, the various forms of maintenance, and how to track facility maintenance. Also covered: personnel and supervision management, production scheduling, project management; fabrication facility economics, profits, overhead, and costs; workforce insights relating to ethics, substance abuse, money management, retirement, and sexual harassment in the work place; introduction to professional welding groups, STEM workshops for youth, and creating a social media presence. Prerequisite: Welding Technology AAS or passing score on Threshold Skill Test. Corequisites: 2 other program courses and the capstone project.

Internal/External Standards Accreditation
The program intends to interface with Weld-Ed, a National Resource Center supports schools, to train the pipeline of welding technicians for industry. Also intend to interface with the American Welding Society to use some of their standards and texts.
