Description: This course evaluates the use of the CMS, streaming video and other multi-media tools used to develop learning objects.

Recommendations: This course was developed to meet the objectives of the Title V Cooperative Grant.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. Compare and contrast traditional and non-traditional methods of information dissemination, learning reinforcement, and assessment.

2. Evaluate the use of CMS, streaming video, and other multi-media tools in the development of learning objects for face to face and online courses.

3. Create learning objects for face to face and online courses using electronic methods of information dissemination, learning reinforcement, and assessment.

1. Demonstrates use of extensive research strategies to find, record, evaluate, and discuss information on traditional and non-traditional methods of information dissemination, learning reinforcement, and assessment.

2. Describe and evaluate a minimum of three multi-media tools enumerating the pros and cons of each and how they can be used.

3. Create a minimum of three learning objects for face to face or online courses using electronic methods of information dissemination, learning reinforcement, and assessment.
