Description: This class will provide faculty with the tools to utilize the college library, taking advantage of the trends in the areas of technology, information literacy, and faculty/library collaborations.

Prerequisites: None

Corequisites: None

Recommendations: This course was developed to meet the objectives of the Title V Grant.

Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. Explain current library trends, resources, and technologies as they relate to the academic library.

2. Synthesize and integrate library resources into college level lesson plans.

3. Evaluate the ways faculty could collaborate with library staff to incorporate research and writing skills into course content.
Internal/External Standards Accreditation
1. Discuss a variety of library resources, trends, and technological advances, explaining how they can be used to enhance a college level course.

2. Create a lesson plan for a current course that incorporates a minimum of two library resources.

3. Discuss contemporary issues and effectiveness of faculty/librarian collaborations.
