Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. List and discuss intermediate asanas and their benefits.
2. Demonstrate intermediate breathing techniques.
3. Demonstrate intermediate meditation exercises, including the use of hand gestures.
4. Explain the philosophy of yoga.
Internal/External Standards Accreditation
1. Perform a series of poses through the use of Sun Salutation A and Sun Salutation B.
2. Perform two intermediate breathing techniques and two intermediate meditation techniques.
3. Perform four hand gestures during meditation.
4. Execute four asanas with the proper form.
5. Correctly respond to written and/or oral evaluations.
