Description: An introduction to the use of Adobe Illustrator software in the creation of logos, illustrations, and typographic designs for use in multi-media design projects. Prerequisite: RDG100.

1. (Application Level) Operate and navigate the illustration software Adobe Illustrator to create illustrations, logos, and typographic designs. (CSLO 2 & 3)
2. (Application Level) Use the various tool palettes to create basic shapes for illustrations. (CSLO 2 & 3)
3. (Synthesis Level) Create artwork using the pen tool and other drawing tools for professional designs. (CSLO 2, 3 & 4)
