Description: Continuation of RAD150, Radiation Physics I, covering the basics of imaging systems and quality control. Prerequisite: RAD140 and Radiologic Technology Cohort student.

Students will achieve a level of competency as outlined by the compendium of learning objectives of Radiation Production and Characteristics (p. 92), Principles of Imaging (p. 90), Imaging Equipment (p.83), of the Radiography Curriculum (2012) established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and recognized as a standard for accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and meet the Professional Requirements specified in Section 2.02 of the ARRT Rules and Regulations and identified in the Competency Requirements for Primary Certification of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
