Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate and discuss the intermediate lifts for the major muscle groups of the body.
2. Recognize position and execution of advanced lifts for the major muscle groups.
3. Demonstrate warm-up, stretching and cool-down routines.
4. Develop an individualized weight lifting program based on student goals/needs.
5. Demonstrate safety procedures appropriate when participating in a weight training program.
Internal/External Standards Accreditation
1. Perform proper warm-up, stretching and cool-down before and after each work-out.
2. Perform proper safety techniques during each work-out.
3. Increase strength and/or endurance for each major muscle group.
