Description: Increase reading comprehension, reading fluency, and college level vocabulary by exploring the relationship between words and ideas, word parts, context clues, and how they all contribute to determining the topic, main idea, and details in a reading selection. To pass the course, a grade of C or better must be achieved. Prerequisite: appropriate placement score.
