Measurable Student Learning Outcomes
1. Match terms associated with cabinetmaking with their definitions on written test.
2. List methods and procedures used in cabinet construction on designated projects.
3. Cut butt, dado, rabbet, miter, dovetail, and coped joints as required.
4. Design and layout a cabinet with a degree of difficulty as agreed upon by instructor.
5. Construct a cabinet with base, facing, drawer, door, and laminate top to specifications. Construct a countertop utilizing plastic laminates as directed.
Internal/External Standards Accreditation
All outcomes must be met with a minimum of 77% accuracy in written requirements and 100% accuracy in demonstrated competency.
