Description: Focuses on entry-level skill expectations for digital animation using Adobe Flash. Covers basic animation techniques used in the creation, manipulation, and editing of Flash animation graphics. Helps students prepare for the Adobe certifications related to Adobe Flash.

1. Describe and use the Flash interface. (I)

3. Create and use vector graphics to create simple Flash animations. (II)
4. Use layers and timelines to create Flash animation. (I, V, VI)
5. Produce motion and shape tweens. (III, IV, V)
6. Create special effects using Flash. (IV, V)
7. Create interactive navigation using buttons. (VI, VII)
8. Create text and text effects to enhance Flash animations. (VII)
9. Identify and utilize sound and video in Flash animations. (VIII)
10. Identify and utilize Rich Media design elements. (VIII)
11. Produce design documentation. (IX)
12. Produce Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) documents for delivery to the World Wide Web (WWW) and various devices. (IX)
