Description: Basic sentence structure, pronunciation and vocabulary necessary to develop speaking ability in Russian



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Pronounce Russian vowels and consonants. (I)
2. Ask simple questions. (II)
3. Make statements of need and desire. (II)
4. Define and use a wide range of Russian vocabulary. (III)
5. Use a variety of common phrases, expressions, and sentence patterns. (III)
6. Narrate in simple past tense. (IV)
7. Communicate in simple and predictable situations. (IV)
