Description: Industrial use of AUTOCAD equipment (hardware and software) in the areas of mechanical, electronic and construction drawings



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Identify the hardware and software components of the CAD system and describe their function and relationship with each other. (I)
2. Demonstrate the procedure for start-up and module selection. (II)
3. Demonstrate the use of basic entities such as lines, circles, and arcs for producing a view. (III)
4. Demonstrate the use of computer commands in the area of editing and manipulation, as aids used in constructing a drafted item. (IV)
5. Demonstrate the use of annotation entities and dimensions. (V)
6. Demonstrate the use of fill pattern commands. (VI)
7. Demonstrate the use of computer commands for construction of an auxiliary view. (VII)
