Description: Introduction to Revit Structure software, addressing specialized options and processes used in structural engineering offices; includes project modeling, model analysis, reinforcement modeling, detailing, and documentation.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Demonstrate basic software navigation skills including software interfaces, file management, content loading, and view creation. (I)
2. Demonstrate the ability to model a given project; create/add structural grids, components, and openings. (II)
3. Demonstrate the ability to analyze structural requirements/scope of work. (III)
4. Demonstrate the ability to create/add structural reinforcing to a given model. (IV)
5. Demonstrate the ability to create/add miscellaneous structural components and required details. (V, VI)
6. Demonstrate the ability to complete project documentation including creating/adding/organizing sheets and views, detail keys, annotation, and dimensions. (VI)
7. Complete a Design Integration Concept Study for a specified project. (VII)
