Description: Residential construction drawing using Architectural Desktop (ADT). Includes preliminary work space setups, configuration procedures, modules operations, and on screen menus applicable for producing components of a building model



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Define and use vocabulary and terminology related to ADT software. (I)
2. Explain the procedures for preliminary work space setups. (II)
3. Explain and demonstrate ADT configuration procedures. (II, III)
4. Explain and demonstrate ADT modules operation. (II, IV)
5. Identify and use ADT on-screen menus. (II)
6. Generate residential floor plan, foundation plan, exterior and interior elevations, and section drawings. (V, VI, VII)
7. Using ADT, generate a room, door and window schedule. (VI, VII)
8. Using ADT, generate a roof framing plan. (VI, VII)
9. Generate a three-dimensional model of a residential building for architectural cover sheet. (VIII)
