I. Four basic safety rules
A. All firearms are always loaded B. Always point firearms in a safe direction C. Keep your finger off the trigger until on target and have decided to fire D. Be sure of your target and surroundings II. Arizona Revised Statutes Title 13, Chapter 4 A. A reasonable person must believe the force used was justified given the same circumstances B. Four prong test 1. Immediate threat 2. Of death or great bodily harm 3. To themselves or another person 4. Coupled with the means to complete the threat III. Mental Conditioning color code. A. White - Relaxed, unaware B. Yellow - General awareness of surroundings C. Orange - Specific threat/awareness D. Fight imminent IV. Firing Range A. Elements of basic marksmanship B. Range rules C.
