Description: Principles of pencil and pen line drawing. Basic perspective, composition and drawing techniques. Daily sketchbook required



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Develop line drawing techniques using pencil and pen. (I)
2. Demonstrate basic perspective drawing techniques. (II)
3. Isolate drawing techniques into most basic elements. (III)
4. Utilize objects in complete compositions. (I-IV)
5. Explore and use techniques with a variety of drawing media and grounds. (II-IV)
6. Demonstrate professional presentation techniques for finished drawings. (V)
