Description: National Electrical Manufacturer`s Association (NEMA) and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for cable tray modified installation and cable installation procedures.

1. Describe the components that make up a cable tray assembly. (I)
2. Explain the methods used to hang and secure cable tray. (II)
3. Describe how cable enters and exits cable tray. (II)
4. Select the proper cable tray fitting for the situation. (III, IV)
5. Explain the National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for cable tray installation. (V)
6. Select the required fittings to ensure equipment grounding continuity in cable tray systems. (VI)
7. Size cable tray for the number and type of conductors contained in the system. (VI)
8. Interpret electrical working drawings showing cable tray fittings. (VII)
9. Pull cable through a cable tray system. (IX)
10. Demonstrate safety procedures for cable tray system installation. (X)
