Description: Cast-In-Place and Precast stair installation techniques, forming, erecting and safety procedures. Review American Concrete Institute (ACI) Codes and standard specifications.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Explain safety procedures associated with using cast-in-place stairs and precast stairs. (I)
2. Erect a basic concrete stair form. (II)
3. Identify codes and standards from ACI involving cast-in-lace stairs and precise stairs. (III)
4. Recognize various types of stairways and their associated forms. (IV)
