| Statewide Update: | Essentially, the consensus was that there is no change in the curriculum at this time, but everything is in review.
- At ASU, they have recently merged a couple of departments (the School of Film, Dance & Theatre). - At UofA, they reported hiring new faculty and still looking for more! At this time, they have 26 theatre faculty and 14 in film. They are selling the program by advertising "If you get your AGEC you can finish your BA in four semesters!" They are saying they can make it work and find a way (very flexible and positive about the AGEC). - At NAU, they now have a $120,000 scholarship fund and report being up 33% in theatre majors. Clearly money talks. |

| Community college Curricular Updates: | NAU has reassessed its design curriculum. Apparently, students were not getting course credit for these classes and having to take additional classes to graduate on time. The department is being required to streamline curriculum so students will not have to go additional semesters. |

We don't really have a program, but maybe someday when we offer a theatre program again we can look at this. Very nice group, willing to help, excited to hear that we are interested in reviving our program. |
