Need Statement: Web Design and Development faculty from CG, GC, EM, MC, PC, PV, RS, SC and SM engaged in the pathway mapping process, developing assessable and holistic program learning outcomes that reflect all that students should be able to know and do upon achieving this certificate, enhancing alignment of this certificate with current industry needs and creating a single streamlined pathway for students interested in Web Design and Development. As a result of this work, the following CCLs will be deleted. 5345 Advanced Web Designer (MC), 5051 Web Developer (EM, GC, PC, PV), 5060 - Web Developer (MC), 5159 Web Design (CG, EM, GC, PC, PV, SM), 5168 Web Development and Graphic Design (EM, SM), 5172 Web Design Technologies (SC), 5342 - Web Server Administrator (MC), 5344 Web Designer (MC), 5346 Web Development (SC), 5778 - Adobe Creative Suite in Business: Master Suite Applications Specialist (MC), 5780 - Adobe Creative Suite in Business: Print and Web Applications Specialist (MC), 5835N - Web Application Development (SM). Program Description: The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Web Design provides students with comprehensive and focused studies in web design, including advanced image manipulation, vector graphics, page layout, video editing and design principles. A Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Web Development and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Web Design/Development are also available.  
Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of C or better in each course in the program.
