Catalog Course Description: This course focuses on issues of physical fitness and well-being in young children which supports the child's right to play and learn in an inclusive environment. Best practice activities will be addressed that develop large and small motor skills and the five senses.  
Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Critique equipment and activities that promote physical development in infants, toddlers, and preschool age children. (1,2,3,4,5,6)
2. Integrate activities to develop the five senses in infants, toddlers, and preschool age children. (1,2,3,4)
3. Articulate the benefits of social interaction through play. (1,2,3,4)
