Women & Gender Studies majors study the way gender, race, class, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, and age shape the world. With a foundation in critical thinking, communication, and research, majors will explore theories and practices through study of culture, economics, film, history, literature, politics, and science. Graduates will possess skills to work in public policy, justice studies, human rights, the media, or social services.

The general education component of this degree is a 35 unit block called the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC). You must complete the AGEC-A.
