Students interested in the outdoors and ensuring the future of community park, recreation, and leisure activities should pursue a major in Parks & Recreation. Majors learn management skills specific to the operation and sustainability of outdoor spaces combined with natural and social sciences to develop and implement park services. Graduates find careers in municipal parks and recreation departments, resorts, federal land-management agencies, and more.

The general education component of this degree is a 35 unit block called the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC). You must complete the AGEC-A.
