Political Science majors study how societies are organized at the local, national, and international levels through government and public policy. Using both a humanistic and scientific perspective, political science students look at the relationships among societies and nations. Coursework includes environmental politics, American government, political ideologies, and more. A degree in political science prepares graduates for work in a variety of government and public services careers, graduate study, or law school.

The general education component of this degree is a 35 unit block called the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC). You must complete the AGEC-A.
