Transfer Tools Home

The hospitality and tourism industry is booming and is expected to have twice the overall rate for employment growth. Students pursuing a hospitality major learn about the management and operation of hotels, restaurants, resorts, convention halls, sports facilities, and other types of recreational businesses. Technical training and liberal arts studies are part of a hospitality degree as well as study of sustainable tourism, resort management, and meeting and convention management.

The general education component of this degree is a 35 unit block called the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC). You must complete the AGEC-A.
