Psychology majors explore human behavior and mental processes. The psychology field includes mental health, counseling, child development, neuroscience, behavior analysis, and more. Psychology students learn to apply scientific methods to diagnose and treat patients and to conduct research on principles of behavior. Psychology students also develop well-rounded skills in writing, speaking, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and more.

The general education component of this degree is a 35 unit block called the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC). You must complete the AGEC-A.
