Language majors not only master speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills in a second language, but they immerse themselves in the culture of the language's native speakers. Whether pursuing French, Italian, German, Spanish or any other language, students will gain a broad appreciation for other cultures and their history. Art, government, international business, and other relevant topics round out a language degree and prepare students for careers in our ever-expanding international climate where second language skills are extremely valuable.
The general education component of this degree is a 35 unit block called the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC). You must complete the AGEC-A.
