Journalism majors master skills in reporting, editing, photojournalism, ethics, and media law that are needed for careers in print and digital media. Journalism programs emphasize written, oral, and visual communication and include study of theories and values that are the foundation of the journalism profession. Graduates are prepared for careers in media organizations and news outlets.

The general education component of this degree is a 35 unit block called the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC). You must complete the AGEC-A.
