NHE: new-to-higher-education; students entering postsecondary level education for the first time, and entering a AZ public community college (AZCC).
General cohort: NHE cohort that has earned 12+ AZCC credits within 3 years of entry. Dual enrollment credits count towards the 12 hours.
Transfer Intent cohort: General cohort that has declared an intent to earn a transfer degree or declared an intent to transfer or has completed 1 or more core general education courses within 3 years of entry.
Transfer Behavior cohort: General cohort that has completed 1 or more core general education courses within 3 years of entry and has either declared an intent to earn a transfer degree or declared an intent to transfer.
