Description: The Academic Certificate (AC) in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education for K-12 Educators program is designed to provide K-12 teachers with the foundation to incorporate STEM education into their classrooms. Courses will cover state and national academic standards for STEM and best practices. K-12 teachers will have opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in inquiry-guided, problem-based, and project-based learning as well as strategies for practical application of STEM education into any K-12 classroom.
Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of C or better for all courses within the program.
