Description: The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Beginning Piano Pedagogy program is for pianists who want to teach beginning piano students. Classes offered include learning various methods, techniques, repertoire, skills, style and musicianship necessary to teach piano effectively.

4. Analyze, practice and perform solo and ensemble piano pieces to enhance performance skills and techniques. (MUP123AA)
5. Analyze, compare, and evaluate beginning piano teaching techniques, methods, and repertoire. (MUP140)
6. Analyze, develop and demonstrate techniques for second semester level private piano instruction emphasizing musicianship, literature and performance. (MUP152AD)
7. Analyze, practice, develop and perform sight-reading skills, ensemble playing and accompanying. (MUP181)
8. Identify the important piano composers and their works and compare characteristics of the different musical eras in relation to piano repertoire studied in class. (MUP240)
